Multiple Sclerosis Association of America Programs and Services GuideThis 16-page booklet provides detailed information about MSAA’s programs and services, which are designed to ease the day-to-day challenges of individuals with MS and their care partners. These include a toll-free telephone Helpline (800-532-7667), MSAA’s Lending Library, support groups, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) assistance, home modifications, equipment loan, and others. Specifics are also given about MSAA’s regional and field offices, along with ways to help support MSAA’s mission.

Multiple Sclerosis and Cooling (3rd edition)Alone and in conjunction with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), MSAA has conducted extensive research into the positive effects of specific, controlled cooling on symptoms experienced by individuals with MS. This publication cites some of the major studies on cooling, and explains how individuals with MS may experience temporary improvement in symptoms such fatigue, visual function, cognitive function, motor function, and spasticity, through the science of cooling. html version |
